Alphabet

Our Ghana alphabet features objects from A to Z that children see around them.  Children can read the alphabet book or play the programme with letters sounded out for them on the laptops.

The alphabet was designed by Lesley Moseley - see more below

Reading Books
W
e found a real shortage of graded reading books suitable for children in Ghana and other African countries.  So we made our own.

We have two sets of reading books, six in each set.  The books develop phonic skills and recognition of common words.
The books were created by Judith Lees.

The Hens Books
As well as our reading books we have some great story books for children who are able to read with some confidence.
Children love them!   They have all been specially created for Let's Read by Lesley Moseley.

The six books tell stories about guinea fowl, very funny birds who run around in small flocks making a great noise.
Below are some of Lesley's great drawings.
